Rental assistance needs a New Narrative.
Mission
Create positive impact with rental assistance.
Vision
A future where landlords and tenants succeed together.
In 2022, we started with a straightforward goal: connect households with rental assistance to available housing. That meant partnering with property owners and managers to reduce screening criteria for households receiving supportive housing services. What we saw: once financial support was in place, the largest barrier was removed. In Oregon, landlords must accept rental assistance. The question isn’t if they’ll participate, but how to make it work well for everyone.
New Narrative
Landlord Liaison
We see a clear need: the challenges with rental assistance that property owners and managers face create unnecessary friction, strain relationships, and negatively impact households & properties. That’s why we focus on making the system easier to understand and interact with, while ensuring landlords have a voice in how it operates.
Through straightforward tools, clear information, and real-time support we help property owners, managers, and supportive housing service providers work better together. By building trust, streamlining processes, and centering landlord experience, we strengthen housing stability, improve property performance, and contribute to a healthier community for all.
Our Values
Housing Stability
We know that housing is both a community and a financial asset. And we believe that housing stability benefits everyone, tenants, landlords, and communities.
Property Performance
We enable and encourage solutions that enhance rental income and mitigate expenses, supporting financial performance for property owners and housing stability for tenants.
Community Wellbeing
We prioritize community wellbeing as a measure of our impact, ensuring that our work strengthens safety, stability, and quality of life for all of Multnomah County.
