We provide technical assistance and training to understand which programs you may be eligible for and how to access them.
Regional Long-term Rental Assistance (RLRA) Risk Mitigation Program
Up to $5000 per tenancy that can be accessed during or after tenancy for any property leasing to a household receiving assistance through RLRA. Qualified costs include unpaid rent, utilities, or property repairs. Cost must be incurred by the RLRA household and owed to the property.
Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Risk Mitigation Pool
Managed by Oregon Housing and Community Services the PSH RMP provides reimbursement to PSH Properties across the state. Properties must have at least one PSH unit, utilize Coordinated Entry or another OHCS-approved process, utilize project-based rental assistance, provide on-site tenancy support services, and be part of the OHCS Affordable Rental Housing portfolio.
Portland Housing Bureau (PHB) Risk Mitigation Pool
The PHB Risk Mitigation Pool reimburses landlords for excess expenses and losses associated with the operation of PHB funded permanent supportive housing (PSH). Reimbursement limits vary by unit size, lifetime limits are determined by multiplying the unit limits by the number of units of that size at the property.
Housing Connector
Properties partnered with Housing Connector have access to $5000 in Risk Mitigation funds and up to 90-days of emergency rental assistance. Partnered properties agree to reduce elements of screening criteria to increase housing access for households with case management support.
